Would be there like a shot if we lived in Eng  Have you tried the BTCV ? When I ran the nature reserve they used to come and do some work. Mostly youngsters that are doing environmental degrees and or are at agricultural college and need some experience. You have to make it very clear what you...

Re: Removing engine mounting bolts

Ive never heard of that? I put the bars on my 1200 and took them off after they needed a respray (which Scott did) certainly didn't need any male brute force to get the engine bolts off? same for the pot covers. Surly the bolts will expand (very slightly) if warm and be harder to remove? Interesting...

Re: GS Low seat options

Thanks folk and hi. I will keep my eyes open for a bargain BMW seat and give it a go. Hopefully by next year the bulk of my renovations will be over so there will be more time to spend using the bike. Hope all are well and Lolo and Scott are still enjoying the sunshine. Ian yes loving it thanks :gr...

Re: Bit the bullet and gone to windows 10

Hope you have better luck than me it crashed my computer over and over again. Could not even log on at one point. I had to reset my laptop to factory setting in the end and down load it as a whole from scratch. It was a nightmare. But all is well now.

Re: GS Low seat options

I had a lowered seat Ian and it was good for me as a girl BUT I have heard a number of times that it can be uncomfortable for boys as some seats have quite a steep incline at the front! I would definitely try one out before purchasing

Re: Sheepskin seat covers
