Re: Yorkshire Lunch Meetings 2017 review

I hope you keep some weekend events as they are the ones I can make more easily. Although the one I did make, only had Keith and Nick as well as me. How about coming down into north Lincolnshire? Really good roads over the wolds. I will put a couple of places forwards when I get back from Australia ...

90 ish miles. Cleethorpes very sunny. I've never seen the tide so far out. A lot colder than I expected though.

Re: Sunday 5th nov

Hi Keith, best wishes for that.
I'm off to Australia next weekend, so this is my last ride for the year. Glorious sunshine as I lie in bed looking out of the window.

Welcome back. Have a look at a Bike Safe course, which is how I got back to full confidence. But mostly enjoy it.

Re: What Have You Done To Your Bike Today ?

186 miles yesterday as a Marshall for the Notts and Lincs air ambulance. Great day out for a very good cause. Approx 200 bikers and 40 plus marshalls.

Re: A dream...

Hi Phil Thanks for the invite. I actually sold my chain saw 18 mths ago. The only kit I still have from my tree days is my (I think) 80 metre rope. I will try and get sometime to talk trees, coppiceing, pollarding, thinning etc. My daughter has taken up from me and works as a tree surgeon in london....

Any plans for a caravan there?

Re: Sunday August 6th Log cabin at Fimber

A great days ride in good weather with good company. I did 168 miles in all. Some wonderful scenery in a part of the country I haven't explored before. Thanks Keith for leading us. Oh and I found my missing ear plug box, in the wrong pocket when I got home, but after my return to the car park in Hul...

Hi Keith
I saw your pm first
Happy meet where you suggest but not sure where the car park is. Is this at the viewing place. For me that's first left as I leave the bridge?

Re: Gear selector switch issue

The current one plugs into the switch. The replacement part which I am told is an improvement, goes behind the starter motor. So a little bit longer job then.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Gear selector switch issue

Hi Mac, I got some spanners from Halfords thanks. My question at the mo, is where is the wire connector? It appears to be behind the starter motor, if it is then no worries. I'm just trying to keep down the number of bits I remove.
