R90S Clock

Postby adrian967 » Tue Sep 26, 2017 10:44 am

Hi folks

My R90S time clock works for about 2 hours then the second hand stops and just ticks from side to side with the clock big hands not moving.
My next move will be to take it to work and put a 12V supply to it and see if it still goes away from the bike.
Any ideas anyone?
The earlier post on clocks has not given me any luck as he has no parts for these clocks.

Thanks
Adrian (1975 R90S)

Hi,

Whilst looking for resources for my own rebuild, I cam across some speedo/tacho repair links on the Airhead site. My speedo definitely needs an overhaul as it is quite stiff from sitting in a damp woodshed for 10 years. The trip reset knob is stuck solid and will not turn.

This site explicitly lists BMW time clock repairs
