Certificate of Conformity

Postby Kiwi » Fri Apr 14, 2017 4:12 pm

Please can some someone advise me on this issue. I bought a BMW R67/3 1954 form a company in Denmark its due to be delivered to me next week and apparently it has its documents. I know that I need to inform the HMRC for a Nova certificate. Then apply to the DVLA .ive got a V55/5 form to fill out and there are several questions referring to a certificate of conformity. Would this information be with the documents or do I need to get this from somewhere else? Any tips on this process would be much appreciated. Looking forward to getting on the road. Thank you

IIRC you do not need a certificate of conformity for a bike of more than 10 years old. I went through this process last year with a 1987 bike and did not require it.

Further to the above, I think I still have a copy of my application which I could email to you with my details removed, and you can fill yours in.

Might be later this weekend though.
