Friendly Warning

Postby Tango » Mon Sep 18, 2017 11:57 am

There is a fake email floating around purporting to be from Motorworks. Offering a free helmet. Be warned it's a scam.

Very bad though because they had names address and telephone number pre filled in. Check your spam and bin it.

cheers

Thanks for the warning Tango, I bet a lot of members will have dealt with M works and will be very grateful for an early warning.

I have just got the offer of a free gift helmet. They want my details. Coming from Lancashire I knew it would be fishy being a free gift from Yorkshire.

Mine too. Must say it looked very genuine but some of the English seemed slightly odd.

I was thinking that, by way of an apology, it would be nice of Motorworks to put the names of those of us who've received the scam mail into a raffle to win a nice helmet.
