Log Cabin at Fimber

Postby P-K » Fri Sep 29, 2017 2:30 pm

Just seen this on another Forum.
I've been told the Log Cabin at Fimber is going to close.
Margaret (The lady who runs it) will have her last day on 15th October, she's retiring.
Aparantly the cabin can't be sold as a going concern as its owned by the council. Hopefully someone else will take it over.
This venue has been used for a few of the Yorkshire Lunch Meets, well known in East Yorkshire.
On Sunny Sundays, you could often see 60-80 bikes there.
