I have a 2014 F800GT does anyone know the difference with the belt between the GT and ST , because you can get the drive belt for the st cheap from contitech but not for the GT until its been out for 6 years, I don't think BMW would spend extra just for year difference and body work change

....looks like the sprockets are the same on both so it is just the length that needs checking.

you could try looking at the RealOEM site to see if there is any difference shown

Knowing how BMW do things these days I would not be surprised if they used two different, incompatible belts.

The belt on the ST will not fit the GT due to the swinging arm being longer on the GT. It is quite upsetting that the ST belt direct from Conti is about a third the price of the GT belt sold by BMW, it's the usual motorcycle rip off me thinks.
