I'm a little uneasy about this thread.
It smacks of crowing at someone else's misfortune.

Boxer, would you laugh at a broken down motorcyclist just because he rode an MZ (or insert any other make you dislike)
I'm not going to lock it, or delete it, because we have a track record of tolerance and non censorship on here.

Just have a think about the wider consequences of triumphalism.

Well, I don't call schadenfreude "Banter".
I take no pleasure at all from someone else's misfortune.
Looks like we have different standards.

P-K > Please don't make this into something it is not, perhaps you could have made your point in a pm to me rather than on a public forum but you have chosen not to so perhaps this is where we differ. I think it is best left where it is now don't you and hopefully when we meet we can shake hands and agree to disagree on this, what do you think ?

It smacks of crowing at someone else's misfortune.
It is crowing at another team's misfortune. Perfectly normal in football circles, particularly local rivals*. Which I'm guessing might not fall within you interest zone P-K (do correct me if I'm wrong).

If a big team overspends, or "cheats" then their misfortune is of their own making and others may have a sense of satisfaction when their rival(s) receive their comeuppance.
