I'm still out there, sailing my tub!

Postby Snowbike » Fri Dec 14, 2007 7:50 am

I only wantet to tell you that - that's all!
This morning we had -12c - and I'm glad I didn't pick last night to test my new sleepingbag outside... ...and I think I'll go back to bed for a minute... or two.
My old tub works just fine, but I have not tried to ride it in a temperature colder then -6c, so...
Tomorrow we are going to celebrate Christmas at the sidewalk in Oslo, the main street Karl Johans Gate! We all make a hot meal and bring primus&table and stuff. Solobikes are welcome too, but most of us are riding a threewheeeler.

So, now you are updated, my friends!
Put a lot of new&clean wool on!

-12c ?

You're all mad.

In those temperatures I'd be at home with the heating on, a cup of tea and watching re-runs of Green Wing.

Hi Phil & John!
Thank you !

Yes, my tub are ok.
-Have you been told BMW are good? Yes?
-And you believe that??
Well, I have tested my supertub and after travelling up&down in hairpins, loaded with my tent&survival-things, all summer, now I KNOW it is good!
640kg, that is the weight of me&the tub&all I neded for one week on the road (not all food, beer & petrol as there ARE more then one shop over here! ), and the engine didn't complain once - must be a perfcet machine! =D>

Problems?
No, but sometimes it need some love...
-I had a flat tyre, and a cabel shoe broke, and that is all suprises it gave me this summer. ...and I'm sure that happend because the tub need love, someone to touch it and talk to it, wipe some oil & smile to it... Yes, it is a baby... O:)

Eh-hemm! Hey; -I'm normal, yes I am!

 Liv.

Hi all!

This is how my tub looked like many years ago... -and it still look like that! =D>

You can see the man who did the rebuild, and his family and dog.
I'm so glad he created my tub, I love it so much! =D>

I felt in love with Wales in 2006. Back then I was riding my Scarver (I still have it).
One day I'll be back, riding my tub. One day... [-o<

Cheers!

Liv

I see you made it the last issue of MAG magazine ( Motorcycle Action Group). There was a picture of you on your outfit at last years winter rally, sorry forgot the rally's name & have passed the magazine on. The article was written by two guys from England who attended the rally but ended up both on one outfit as the other broke down on the way, they had attempted this rally before but failed to reach it so were detemined to make this time.

Hi!
I have'nt been here for so long so I seem to have lost my name her.
I'm Snowbike!
My new name here is 'Snowbike - again'.

I rememeber those two guys at Krystallrally! That was Paul and Dave, at picture number 14 here: http://krystallrally.no/?page_id=198" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They made it, but not the yellow bike Paul rode. Brave men!

At picture 17 here you'll find me and some other brave men from UK. http://krystallrally.no/?page_id=72" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; That is Krystallrally too, but not the same hotel/year.

Cheers!
Liv - still in Norway.
