Hello all and still looking!

Postby brennain1 » Mon Sep 11, 2017 11:27 am

Thought I'd best get this done whilst I was on here. Although I've not got a beemer at the moment I am looking to get one, hopefully an R65 or naked R80/100. In the past I've had an R80RT and a rather interesting R80ST that I brought back from Germany and had been the bike of a former ISDT champion. At the moment I've got a number of BMW's East German cousins, namely MZs, which I'm a bit of a fan of despite the ridicule they can sometimes attract! Hopefully I'll have a BMW soon and will look forward to becoming more involved in the forum and at meets.

Cheers,
Brendan.

Hi Brendan,

Welcome to the forum!

A few members here have also got MZs - they are good bikes.

Good luck in your search!

You know you belong in a home for getting rid of the ISDT bike don't you...

I've always liked the MZs for a reason similar to liking Airheads. As the saying goes, Sometimes, the simplest engineerIng designs are the best.

Welcome.
