Hello

Postby Stevesims663 » Sat Oct 14, 2017 8:46 pm

I aquired my R1150RT, earlier this year, obviously she is starting to age with 61,000 miles on the clock, but the ride is great, I am really pleased to have changed my bike. I am looking forward to some enjoyable rides to come.

Thanks for the forum, always pleased to see we can help one another.

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve,

I too have recently acquired a 1150RT (2004 with a low 9,700 miles) I too find the quality of the ride good, although still getting used to the gearbox being a tad clunky compared to my other rides..!!

Have just ordered my RT a larger touring screen & a headlight protector....early crimbo present for the RT.

I love riding in Wales, roads are IMO far better (Shell grip on a lot of corners) & less congested than England.

Every spring & autumn I meet up with other aprilia Caponord owners...& camp in Llandovery & take in breath taking rideouts...in a word Awesome...my favourite area to ride in the UK for sure...

Cheers
