New member saying hi

Postby Macbmw » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:16 pm

Hi, I am new to the forum and air head ownership. Having owned BMW K series bikes in the past I thought it only right that I should buy and run a R100RT. So last week I bought one from Yorkshire and rode it home to Cornwall. The bike is a 1989 mono shock with 12,000 miles from new. I do tend to ride my bikes a fair bit and all year round, so it won’t be cosseted over winter under a heated duvet but I do look after my bikes and do my own servicing, so it won’t do it any harm to be used ( thanks to BMW build quality)

Beemers prefer use, especially k series.
I remember seeing the late Airhead bikes at the Motorcycle show years back, they looked classic then. 12k is low miles, lots of life in that machine. Welcome and enjoy.
