Update Complete

Well, the update is now complete. We'll have to live with this colour scheme for a while though.

Most of the old add-ons do work even if they shouldn't but one or two don't. We have lost the ability to open links in a new page and although it installs, I'm not convinced that tapatalk works - if anyone that uses it could test it and see it would be appreciated. The Link in a new window will, I'm sure be available in due course and TapaTalk.... who knows - they're remarkably lazy on updates.

Urrgh! What happened there?
Looks like a glitch making the forum hard work to read.

That was how the original update appeared. Refreshing the view cleared it - try doing that.

OK, I've just logged on with my Android phone (never used for viewing the forum before) and all appears fine. Perceived wisdom on the php site is that you need to refresh the screen.

Okay Users if you are getting This Image

Log out, Clear your cache, this is the fileroom of backed up templates of any webpage that you visit and is there to to save loading it all each time you visit,
Unfortunately whilst the web address is correct the underlying "instructions" for your web browser are now incorrect

So Clear your cache and Log back in again, that cleared the same Issues for me

Glad to be back in and Thanks for the hard work Phil!

Thank you.Jay , for explaining it so well. The issue is caused by the new files system used and the stored info is incorrect until refreshed

I don't know how I did it except try and follow Jaythro's suggestion, but it's back to a normal view now so thank you for the tip.

So Clear your cache and Log back in again,
I had to Google to find out how to do that on an iPad, but all working now. (Except I have to sign in again to all my other Safari favourites. Where did I hide my password list..............?)

For anyone that has this problem with Firefox, I can recommend an add on call "clear site cache". It enables you to clear the cache just for the problem web site without losing cached data for other sites. It worked a treat.

I will be uploading a colour scheme tomorrow (Sat) and it's just possible that you may need to refresh the page or clear the cache again - I had to when I uploaded to the test site

Brilliant, thanks Phil. Since this morning, links highlight like they used to on an iPad when you hold your finger on them; needed on a tablet.
