Yorkshire Luncheon Meeting 18th July

Postby Rugbycoach » Tue Jul 18, 2017 2:42 pm

On a very bright sunny day our usual group arrived at Bedlam farm shop venue to exchange banter and stories.
Our intrepid organiser P-K was away in Falmouth holidaying so no previous post of the event had been available. Never the less
Keith,Nick, Steve, Mike, Peter and yours truly had great rides in and over the Yorkshire Wolds and NY moors.
Peter also picked up a Barnsley chop and steak freshly butchered at the farm shop. no doubt while reading this he will be tucking into the chop.
Next Meeting at Hessle nr Hull on the 15th August. P-K may be back to post reminder??? [-o< [-o< [-o<

As usual, a very pleasant lunchtime meet with good company, good food and an excellent venue.
Peter wasn't the only the only one to buy a Barnsley chop, looking forward to mine tomorrow.
Nice weather, but too hot- I like it hot, but not that hot!
Thanks to Phil for organising.

Looking forward to the next one at Hessle country park, we'll have to come up with a circuitous route as it's
only about 6 miles away from us as the crow flies - assuming it doesn't get shot en-route.
Nick.

Hi
eat the red meat while your doctor lets you. The discussion with mine today included a diet of Cottage chees and water

That doesn't sound like a very exciting diet George, I'll take your advice and enjoy red meat while I can!

Hi folx

Just got back home from a 10 day trip to Falmouth.
Sorry for not posting details before I went away. Too much "Holiday" stuff to think about.
Thanks to Colin for the trip report.
Glad it all went well
