Roadside breakdown / recovery in France

Postby goldenoldy » Thu Jul 27, 2017 2:17 pm

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a company for breakdown and recovery in Europe? It's too close to the end of my policy to add to my present insurance. Thanks.

May be too late, but years ago I used to simply buy breakdown cover from RAC as I left home. I used it one time, seemed to work okay. They flew me back from Nice, trailered my bike back, no complaints about how I was treated, but that was long ago.

Thanks KH, I've gone with Driver Guardian, UK plus European cover.

The German ADAC is brilliant, only problem is you need an address in Germany.
A workaround is to buy it through Stefan Knopf in Heidelberg, he's been helping me out for years.
