April 19th Yorkshire Lunch Meet

Postby P-K » Mon Apr 11, 2016 4:43 pm

April 19th Teacups Cafe Patley Bridge.

12:00 to 1:00 pm Tuesday 19th.

This cafe is a bit "Transport Cafe" inside (Plastic table cloths etc) but the food is good.
It's located in an old school house next to the Auction Mart.
Note - it's easy to miss if you go blasting up the hill from the petrol station, so be observant.

All are welcome.

Hi Phil
I dont think I will get to the April lunch but will you and Colin remind people that Bryce and I are coming to the July lunch and then "Hosting" the Club Beamish museum event the next day? People to make their own hotel arrangements, we are stopping in the Travelodge at Washington.

After Beamish we are going up to Scotland to ride about, anyone who wants to come along is free to join us except the first night where we are meeting up with a non biking mate. Some details in "Holiday Company", this is NOT a club event

On the way back I am going to the Loch Ken club event which is on the Events tab.

Keith (keiththeoutfitter1)
Peter (peterbrindle)

A great turnout!

I was tempted myself but Onion planting won the day!

It's a long way from Dundee for Gordon and Norman! =D>

Yes, a good meet. Norman & I had a good run home - dry roads and sunshine almost all the way !

It's not likely that we will be able to attend meets so far away on a regular basis, but if we can, we will. And maybe some of the Yorkshire lads can make it up to Scottish meet some time .....

Hi Gordon..glad you and Norman had a good ride home. It was good to meet you both and I would certainly like to make it to a Scottish meet. I haven't been north of the border since 1994 so I think I'm overdue a trip.

Very enjoyable meet-up. Came the long way home (not quite as far as Dundee!) and don't think I've ever seen the Yorkshire countryside looking better.
