Hi Bryce,
I think I have a twin booked for the double price

Milliplod=Pete (the missing Halton Brat) has mailed me to say he wont be able to get there

The next thing is shall we have a guide? It is 30 quid if they can still provide one

Yes to a Guide.
In my experience a guide makes the visit much more interesting and informative.

George,

What are you asking me?

Yes, I think we should have a guide...............then you can fill in the missing information like you did with the last guide we had at Cosford! ROFL

I like being guided and my wife tells me I am not allowed out without supervision.

all set up now so put me down for this event.
What time should we get to the venue, allowing time to park and remove the bike gear?

Hi
I have requested the 2 hour tour to start at 11.00am with expected arrival time of 10.30

People on here who seem to have booked the travelodge are George, Tango, Bryce and PeteAndAlex
with Bob planning to stop with a mate the night before

2 others have talked about coming, but I will leave it up to them to declare for themselves.

Hi
Dear George,
Thank you for booking a group visit to the Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford. I am pleased to confirm the booking for BMW Riders Club on Monday 10th April, 2017, arriving at approx. 10:30hrs.

I will book an standard tour commencing at 11:00hrs and the cost for this will be £30. Payment for the tour to be made on day of arrival at the Welcome Desk in the Visitor Centre.

Our on-site Refuel restaurant in the Visitor Centre can offer hot meals from 12.00pm until 2.30pm each day. We can offer a fine selection of sandwiches, panini’s, jacket potatoes, soup of the day, signature sausage rolls and cakes to tantalise the taste buds. I will inform the restaurant of your intention to eat there. We also have a café in the National Cold War Exhibition.

When you arrive on site please book in at the Visitor Centre (glass fronted building) welcome desk where staff will be available if you have any questions.

Admission, coach and minibus parking are free of charge. Car parking charges are £3.00 for up to 3 hours and £4.00 for all day parking. You are more than welcome to double up your bikes in the parking bays and only pay for one ticket per bay. Please keep a hold of you parking ticket should there be any need to show it.

The museum is open daily from 10.00hrs to 17:00hrs (March to October) and 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs (November to March).

Hi Pete,
sad you wont get there.

If you still have the hotel booking offer it on here cos maybe someone else will take it from you, Nick has hinted he wanted to come but has not booked yet afaik

Hi
Just posting the museum's email here in case I dont get there. I plan to be there, especially as I have paid for a hotel the night before, but this will allow you to enjoy the event if anything happens to me. Backup plan requires you to-- Pay the man, get a receipt and claim from the Treasurer
Good morning

I can now inform you who your tour guide will be for your Standard Tour on Monday 10th April 2017 @ 11:00hrs. John Thatcher will be showing your group around. He has a wealth of information and knowledge on the collection which he will happily share with your group. John will meet you at the Welcome Desk in the Visitor Centre. The cost for the tour will be £30 and this is payable on arrival also at the Visitor Centre.

I hope you all have an enjoyable visit.

Kindest regards,
Val Hurlstone
