Sorry but I can't make this meet as I will be in Filey with my wife, daughter and grandson on a mini holiday. I'm not doing very well with Yorkshire meet attendances this year but the dates haven't worked for me this year. Have a good lunch!!

I should be able to make this one. As Nick said, given reasonable weather.

I'll be coming up over the bridge. Do you want to meet up on you side and ride up together?

Hi Mike,
Can do that, do you want to meet in the north-side car park, lower level by the information kiosk, say 10.50? I'll send my mobile number by pm just in case.

Nick, do you fancy meeting us there, ride on the back roads through Etton, Middleton on the Wolds, Huggate, or meet there?

Hi Keith
I saw your pm first
Happy meet where you suggest but not sure where the car park is. Is this at the viewing place. For me that's first left as I leave the bridge?

Hi Mike,
We will meet where you suggest, the new pub car park on the roundabout- 'The Winfield'. Same time, 10.50. It's easier to get to than the bridge car park.
Nick is going to ride up with us.

Looking forward to it. Family commitments mean that I haven't been on a bike for well over a week - most unusual!

Mike, Nick, and I met up at the north end of the Humber Bridge and had a ride up to Fimber on the back roads where we had a bite to eat, a cuppa and a natter for about an hour. From there we had a ride through Thixendale, Kirkham Abbey and Welburn to Terrington where tea and cakes were taken at the tea-room. From there, we took a route back through Flaxton, Buttercrambe, Full Sutton, Pocklington and South Cave where Mike took his leave of us to go back over the bridge and Nick and I headed home.
All in all, a very enjoyable day in good company.

A great days ride in good weather with good company. I did 168 miles in all. Some wonderful scenery in a part of the country I haven't explored before. Thanks Keith for leading us. Oh and I found my missing ear plug box, in the wrong pocket when I got home, but after my return to the car park in Hull to see if I had dropped it!!

Great motorcycling weather, warm and dry but not hot!
Keith chose some great roads that I probably haven't ridden for 20+ years and a couple I don't think I ever have,
he also has an encyclopedic knowledge of Yorkshire cafés and tearooms.
To echo the other two, a great ride out in good company,
Thanks.
Nick.
