Sat Nav cover / case

Postby P-K » Wed Mar 22, 2017 10:12 pm

Hi all,

My son and daughter bought me a car sat-nav for Christmas. (Tom Tom Go 520)

Does anyone know of any suitable waterproof container / cover / enclosure, that will let me use this on the bike ?

Hi Phil.

A mate uses his Garmin in a zipped case he got off eBay - he reckons its completely waterproof. If you root around on there, there are some that have the female connector on the back to take the 1" RAM ball-mount.

Hi Phil,
Have a look at - http://ridermount.com/ - I bought one for my Garmin 660LM which I no longer use.
The company are good to deal with and very helpful.

Good point! My mate has grumbled in the past about reflections on it, even on days that aren't overly sunny.

One of my work mates made a shade for his from a bit of square rain guttering. Stuck it on with silicone.
