its when you reach for the exotic stuff you bought back from holiday that things get bad

Indeed, once had something called "firewater" from some Spanish resort when I was 17. Was supposed to be 90% alcohol but was probably turps. I downed half a bottle and engaged in inappropriate toileting to put it politely! :oops:

Bridget has made some damn fine damson gin this autumn. I think there is some left somewhere. The best bit is eating the damsons after all the liquor is gone. With a bit of yogurt. Lovely. Doer that count as drinking :wink:
