Clutch switch / Rear wheel speed sensor no signal

Postby thorvald » Mon Jun 05, 2017 8:34 am

Hi guys,

Another one from me after battling with the ignition coils after a week of riding I now have 2 permanent errors.

So we are talking here about R1200RTP 2008 (second half), 90k miles on it.

One issue is related to the clutch switch but don't care about that too much. I'm surprised bike starts as normally I found when the clutch switch is at fault you cannot start the engine.

Second error is related to the rear wheel speed sensor and this one bothers me a bit as I have no ABS at the moment. I have ordered a new sensor plugged it in to the connector but the fault is still there. I don't know now whether the one I ordered (used one) is also broken or it's something else. I measured a voltage coming out from the sensor connector and it was showing something around 0.3V (unless I set my multimeter to incorrect setting).

Any advises as always very welcome.

Thank you for your help in advance.
