Switching MPH to KmPH for continental trip

Postby Goldbug101 » Wed Jun 14, 2017 10:30 am

Hi all.

Anyone know if it's possible to change the numerical speed display from MPH to KmH temporarily for a trip to France?

Seems likely it can only be done with the GS911 diagnostic computer, but wondered if it could be done as part of a start-up sequence, eg holding one or two buttons down as you turn on the ignition.

Not critical as will have satnav set to KmH, but handy reminder.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I rarely take notice of the bike speedo and always rely on the Sat Nav for speed. Tomtom shows the speed in MPH but you can change to native units.

Sure. Just wondered, as it seems reasonably easy on the face of it.

From memory I don't think it's something you can do yourself, it's a dealer thing so really not worth it

I asked once and was told no. I put some little coloured sticky dots on my speedo for 30, 50, 60, 80, 100 and 120 just in case my SAT NAV played up worked for me :-)
Living the dream :sunny:
