My son and daughter bought me a TomTom go 520 for Christmas.
It's a car unit, but I intend to try it on the bike, in the waterproof map case on top of my tank bag.

If anyone has any tips regarding this unit - please speak !

Only tip I can give Phil is to make sure you use MotoGoLoco to plan your routes!

OK Thanks.
Had a brief look at their website - lots to plough through.
Next rainy afternoon, this will be a priority.

Garmin Zumo 660 fits the BMW dock and works fine, except for jog wheel and menu button. It's the equivalent of the Navigator IV.

You can pick these up more cheaply - I had one until recently, which I sold for £250 and replaced with a BMW Navigator V, used for £400 - because I decided I *did* want the jog wheel and menu button control. Also the Nav V has some significant improvements over the IV.
