Seat heights

Postby gogs01 » Wed Feb 15, 2017 6:12 pm

Hi,

I wonder if anyone on here can identify the height of the seat ( for a 2017MY R1200RT) from the numbers in the attached photos. I know that the bike can be ordered with a low, standard or high seat and each can the be set in either low or high position. But which seat is this ? .....

..... This is the number from the low height s4at with heater on my 2015 LC LE.
.
From RealOEM : Your 52538544786 is a heated seat, low.

My 52538544792 is a heated seat, high. Doesn't feel as high as my previous bike's standard seat. Comfy enough though .....

Or if you can read German, or use Google Translate, the label says "Driver's seat, black, high, heated", and in Goldbugs pic "...., black, low, heated".
However, it is always wise to check part numbers.
