As an all rounder you can't beat the RT I've owned 1100RT and 1150 and 1200GSAs and I've ridden every model RT, GS and GSA apart from the latest (I've ridden 2 of the LC RTs but not the GS or GSA). By the time you fit the fashionable aluminium box panniers you end up with something wider than a RT b...

Yes use both brakes - they are not linked on the 1100 so pulling the handlebar lever means you're not using any rear. The standard rear pedal is stupidly small and awkward to get too, one of the best things I've done to my RT is fitting a brake pedal extender, it slides over the original round pedal...

Thanks all Not over the H-D bug yet, I still have the 2015 Street Glide and it is some kind of awesome and a real pleasure to ride as long as it's not too hot (heat radiating from the motor cooks your right leg/foot), too damp (bugger all grip from the hard tyres that Harley riders prefer) or there'...
