As part of its overhaul I decided to completely strip and re-build the front brakes - pistons, seals, pads.

It was quite a job but the result was worth it. Much better brakes and nice looking clean calipers.

I gathered you were impressed... :smile: UInfortunately, I would still say that it is overpriced and tells you nothing that you can't see from a simple DVM which you can pick up just about anywhere for a tenner. The DVM will also give you a whole host of other functions involving vehicle electrics,...

I found this little gadget... what I liked about it is that is tests the alternator as well as the battery...

I have the Optimate 3 on my K1300GT and this just clips onto the same lead - so no need to even disturb the battery when checking. =D>

I love my K1300GT, but it had a huge, heavy exhaust and not much character in terms of exhaust sound. I found a company that were able to supply caliper and other bolts for my K1300GT. They seemed willing to help.

They have a website and are on E Bay.

Shaw Stainless (UK based).

I have no connection with them but product and service were good.

Just did a spark plug and coolant change on my 2010 K1300GT.

Much to my relief it went very well. I just took it very s-l-o-w-l-y.

Having to buy a vacuum tool was a bit of a drag, but it worked fine.
