Re: R90s model engine build

Had a look at it before the cocona when I was with our local dealer. At first sight it looks great but when you look closer... I remember there were some flaws. The engine when running made a lot of noise. (not engine noise but screetching plastic) There was no wasted sparc. Gear change didn't alway...

On windows , download and open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, go to Edit, Preferences, 3D and Multimedia. Tag "Play 3D content" As I'm using a dutch version text probably will be a bit different. You can also try https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/displaying-3d-models-pdfs.html On Ubuntu (linu...

Re: Flying other europeans in to pick fruit!!!

A couple of years ago they tried to get some 'out of work' youth to work in the greenhouses (Westland NL). They drove a busload to the greenhouses and showed what they had to do. No surprise none was interested, they were getting their welfare check anyway so why work.... One of the big errors in th...

Re: Facebook Users New BMW page

You could have a webmail account just for FB, using an alias, all FB spam would en up there. Normally I use FB only to login on some simple games that are on another site. I almost never come on my own page. There is not much to find about me, just post from the games and from game-"friends". I acce...

Re: MCN today

Last summer the rear bearing broke and took the seal with it, oil coming out, all over my rear brake disk and tire. Probably I stopped in time, only the bearing, the seal had to be replaced and filled with new oil. I bought the bike with 29k it has now almost done 70k (km). With me and luggage I'll ...

Hi Paul Welcome. To edit location, choose "User control panel" than "Edit profile". A couple of lines below "country" you will find "location" I saw my country was empty although it was mandatory, probably it was not included in a previous version of the forum. I've changed my location from "Aalsmee...

Re: Clutch slipping even with new clutch!

On my R100CS I had the problem that setting the tention on the clutch lever was very critical, the cable had almost no play where it should be 2mm. After I had a broken gearbox bearing repaired the problem was gone. So maybe you could think in that direction.

Re: Any experienced tyre changers out there?

I've seen someone breaking the bead of the tyres of a two valve BMW, using the bike itselve. He used the bike, standing on it's centerstand, moving it around and tilting it so he could press down the bead with the other leg of the centerstand, using the bikes weight. For inflating, he took out a spa...
