Re: Possible restart of events

I'd be happy to attend the previously scheduled lunch meeting on August 18th at The Country Park Inn at Hessle - there's plenty of outside seating. Me too although it could be the other people that create a problem with the social distancing. It may be worth looking at somewhere we know may not be ...

Re: BMW Nav6/Basecamp/AppleMac????HELP!!!!

Quick solution whilst on the road: If your getting straight lines on your Nav 6, change setting from fastest route to curvy route (sat nav will recalculate) revert to fastest route (sat nav will recalculate again) Hey-Presto - Route is now shown as on road instead of straight line from point to poi...

Re: Heated clothing

Gerbing are good. wire the connector direct to the battery. I sold my heated jacket as I now use a 800 down packable jacket packs into its pocket nice and small. I find it works better as dual purpose when travelling. It has been great even at minus 5 while up Stelvio in the snow!!!

Re: Givi Top Box and rack R1250R

Regarding your earlier enquiry about upwards gear changes without using the clutch you will have no trouble at all. once you have run the bike in and everything loosens up it will be fine .It is a little stiff initially. My preference is still use the clutch better for block changing down!! Easy to...

Re: March 17th yorkshire lunch meet

Most motorcycling groups in my area are either cancelling until further notice or using common sense and social distancing until otherwise advised. Watching what is happening though? common sense appears very uncommon!!!!! Phil happy to meet up if we are allowed and available. Holiday plans now in a...

Re: BMW Nav6/Basecamp/AppleMac????HELP!!!!

Hi I had the same issue, with my Nav6 and I can confirm 100% I sorted it out within Basecamp settings - it had nothing to do with the Nav 6. Sadly it was some time ago and I cant quite remember what I did but it was within the route detail box that pops up, if I remember correctly local routes also...

Re: New self catering studio apartments in Edinburgh

At first glance these look really good value for the quality. However as someone who uses self-catering facilities in the UK and Europe on a regular and frequent basis on our motorcycle trips. We would always look for room space and facilities with small kitchenette. We would require a seating area ...
