Shiny tank - not a purist honest!!!

Postby Ian T » Mon Jul 09, 2018 7:32 am

Hi everyone

As I undergo my total refurb of my K75s I am going to give it a go with a shiny polished petrol tank and wheels, I don't know why, guess I am at that certain age or just a total twat head, no sure which

So the bike at the moment is that rather nice Maraakes Red. My request is please:

- What colour bodywork do you all think will go with a shiny petrol tank and wheels?

I have no intention of bastardising the bike into a cafhay recerer so I will be keeping all the bodywork. It may look crap, it may not but I would really love any ideas you have on what colour may set it all off

Or I suppose you could excommunicate me

Cheers

I'm guessing you'll need lots of wet and dry, lots of polishing compound and a huge amount of elbow grease.
Patience and perseverance essential.

Yup the tank is nearly done. It's the complimentary colour of the bodywork I am not sure off. It took lots of elbow to get it down bit more to do yet.

Just wondering what body colour would compliment

Cheers
