Postby JohnBoy » Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:02 pm

My fairing wobbles like crazy when riding ,and at night the front light is all over the place ,any solutions as the nuts are tight , ,I'm thinking the rubber grommets on the shoulder bolts maybe perished or worn

what bike????

If its an RT or RS the moulded fairing brackets on the fairing may have broken off as BM used a talc/fiber/gel coat system that was not really durable

I once had a similar issue with an old R80RT (ex Police) and it turned out the mounting bracket was snapped off where it attaches to the steering stem. I had to remove it and get it welded. It was much stronger than original after that and I never had any more issues with it. good luck sorting yours out.
