Did all R25/2 gearboxed come with a hand gear shifter

Postby r25/2sambo » Mon Oct 21, 2019 6:37 pm

I recently bought an R25/2 and every other R25/2 I've seen has had a hand gear shifter on the opposite side of the casing to the foot shifter.
Mine doesn't, it has a foot shifter only. Were any made without this or does mine has a later gearbox? Are the later model gearboxes a straight swop.
Thanks

I would suggest that you take a look at Realoem and look at the parts diagrams for different years.

Welcome to the BMW single cylinder fraternity.

Foot or hand change could have been a factory option perhaps?
