Hi
have fun, I'm going to the car/ aviation show I punt around every year.

Last year it came with discounted entry and free camping, Tea, toilets. If people fancy the show for 2019 I will try to talk to the organisers, but it is a cab ride to the pub and there is no food until the Sunday

I'll try and make it. If it's raining too hard, I'll come by car.

Safe back at Beadnell after a rather damp ride back from the meet.
I went on Walter the K75S and he ran well in spite of the wet.
Nice to meet Capt Airhead for first time and see Ced & Keith again.
It's not grim up North!
since 1994 a R100R and from Oct 2015 "Walter" K75S, and from Aug 2016 R850R!

That's me back home as well!

I called in at elder daughter on the way back and also stopped for fuel - the bike restarted without any problems (battery collapsed yesterday).

It was nice to meet up with Keith [Ruralman], Ian [CaptAirhead] and Andy [andymcg] and the chat never stopped - doesn't time fly at these meets!

It was also nice to see 'Walter' for the first time (Windmill John's K75 which he sold to Andy).
A nice looking bike - I have always liked the K75.

The weather was pretty miserable with rain and mist but that didn't dampen our spirits!

Keith passed me as I turned onto the Edinburgh bypass on the way to Ceres and Andy passed me on the way back just past Kirkcaldy as he had taken a detour to see the Fife fishing villages.

The new Forth Road Bridge (Queensferry Crossing) had a 2 mile Southbound tailback when I got close to it - not sure why as there were no roadworks or high feeder traffic from sideroads.
I have noticed this occurring previously.

Thanks to everyone for making another great Northern Meet!

Another Great Northern Meet, the ride up to Ceres was damp but not soaking! I passed Ced just after Hermiston Gate Edinburgh.

Arrived at the venue in Ceres (Folk Museum) around 11:50 Ced arrived just around 12:00 and Andy and Ian arrived around 12:30.

The Bacon sandwiches and soup were well received and the topics of conversation were varied and as Ced said time flies by when your chatting away on these Meets!

Headed away Home through heavy rain! Slowly noticing that my left foot was getting colder! The Edinburgh bypass was very busy but hey-ho! I was on a Motorcycle! filtering is a joy in these circumstances!

Arrived home with a soaking wet left foot vowing to refurbish my boots! either that or make sure that I wear my over-boots!

Thanks to Ced, Andy and Ian for making it an enjoyable Meet.

Regards
Keith
