BMW F800GS 2008 Gauge and kill Switch

Postby eman » Fri Feb 22, 2019 11:16 am

Hello everyone,

I just got BMW F800GS year 2008 model from Germany for my collection.
But i have 2 questions:

Question 1.
I dont see any kill switch on stearing wheel. and i cannot find any google picture on 2008 year model that have one. Isnt it mandatory for all models ?
+ Is there any way to add Kill Switch to this year model ?

Question 2.
Motorcycle speed gauge is damaged thats why i bought new one and wanted to replace. but it seems that i bought wrong type -> for F650 GS. But after small research I saw one post which said that you only need to change this gauge plastic case because they are reproducing same gauge for F800gs and F650GS but just putting different plastic case. Can someone approve this version ? is it true?

Gauge i bought:

Guys in internet says that you only need to buy this plastic case and change it:

My ordered Gauge opened and connected to my BMW F800GS
