Drinking Time
Well folks it's that time of the year so I am sitting here with some Strawberry and lime cider. Very nice.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Re: Drinking Time
Hmm, close but I prefer my G&T Aldi special having spent the day trying to shoe horn a Land Rover engine in.
Re: Drinking Time
I've been fettling under the plastics of my RT today, and debating whether to pluck up the courage to attempt removal of the manky header studs. The neverending 'should I/shouldn't I?' has drained me mentally....doesn't take much....my wife and daughter are away tonight....so I've just cracked open a bottle of Auchentoshan 1996 'Old Particular' to help me recuperate. Cheers!
Pete

You seem to be not quite understanding the concept here. They still have contents and lids on..Just a token selection...

The way it works is that you remove the lid and empty the contents as soon as you get it.
This has several advantages:
First and second born can't steal it
Faten can't steal it.
It never goes off.
Easier to store once empty.

As a lifelong and committed teatotaler I would just like to thank you good gentlemen for paying the vast amount of tax on your alcohol that you pay. I look forward to every budget to see how much more you pay for the privilege of following your hobby.
However if the government ever has the audacity to tax tea so highly I will lead the revolution. Bring back the Boston Tea Party!

In every battle, there are survivors... until the next battle. The survival rate of these troops in the longer term is sadly very limited. Some have already succumbed but reinforcements arrive regularly on the troopship HMS Tesco so the battle goes on.

I have my blue belt in tea drinking. Plus my black belt in malt whisky drinking. But remember Issy, you pay loads of tax on the fuel you use to.As a lifelong and committed teatotaler I would just like to thank you good gentlemen for paying the vast amount of tax on your alcohol that you pay. Re: Drinking Time
Hi gents
Damn I had forgotten fuel duty. Ok, from now on I will make an alliance with you of the alcohol persuasion (of which my own brother is a founder member and a great whiskey aficianado) I won't laugh at tax hikes of any sort in future.
Unless they make footballers pay three times as much tax as anyone else then I will laugh myself silly.

Re: Drinking Time
My son's partner had a good result at an Employment Tribunal today - I'd helped her put her case together a couple of months ago.....it gave me a real headache, but we obviously got it right!
Anyway, they turned up earlier, and brought me this as a 'thank you', knowing that I'm partial to a nice sherry -
Wow!!
Absolutely superb, and went a treat with some Shropshire Blue!
