Winter screenwash.

Postby milleplod » Tue Oct 29, 2019 1:07 pm

Just bought 20ltrs of Triple QX (cherry flavour!) -7deg stuff for £7.96 delivered - https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/p/tripl ... -542772201

Use the code at the top of the page. Other flavours available. :D I've used this the last couple of years, no freezing of it at all, although they do do a -15 deg one if you get harder winters in your neck of the woods.

I just tried to order 20 litres and got this message :-
"Sorry, one or more items in your basket are not available for delivery to your postcode. Some products that are classed as 'Dangerous Goods' cannot be delivered to your address by our couriers."

I wonder how some can get it delivered and not others ..... ?

Hi
Scotland, Alcohol, maybe you have to pay 50p per unit on it?

A mate wanted 10litres of IPA so tried to buy 2x5L from the website but they wanted a delivery charge too dangerous to post 5 litre pack. However he could buy 10x1 litre and it could be posted in one big box. BTW he offered me plenty of 1litre pack of BLUE slightly contaminated IPA but I dont have a use for it

Connect a full bottle to an empty bottle with a pipe and you will have half a bottle of pure alcohol after a few days.

DG Regs for transportation by road (ADR). My certification expired a couple hundred years ago, but in a nutshell there are minimum quantities allowed to travel without specific signage or segregation. Over a certain threshold it gets much more complicated. I guess the seller doesn't want the aggravation.
