Hi,

This is my first time here. I have a K1 which I have, for a variety of reasons, shamefully neglected but am now planning a strip-down/re-furb. Due also to some nasty little local thieving nerk I will have to source new badges and probably have to do a re-spray because of damage done.

I think the front forks are pretty shot in a number of ways. I have heard there are some recommended upgrades - any suggestions?

I am mainly a Ducati rider so this is my first foray into the world of BMW motorcycles although I have been a BMW car driver for many years (E21 323i).

Please be gentle - all help and advice gratefully received.

RAB
