Hello from a rider new to the forum and to BMW bikes. I have just acquired a 2005 R1200ST and I will be posting my first impressions on the appropriate forum. I have previously been a rider of quite a few Hinckley Triumphs and a few Japanese Fours. My intention with the BMW is to try a foreign tour or several, especially after retirement next year.
If anyone here was on the old Bikersweb Forum, I was skida there, too.

Re: New BMW Rider
Hi Skida welcome to the forum. The beauty of BMW in europe is the dealer network just in case. I have used them a couple of times. Once on a long tour for a service in Austria and once for a rear brake issue. Rolled in and out in an hour great service from BMW Koblenz. They spoke great English.
