Final Call for Ledbury

Postby george baker » Thu Jun 05, 2014 10:31 am

Hi
There are very few bookings and I will have SLOW (if any) internet access for the next week so if you want to come then you have to commit in the next couple of days

Well Keith if Ledbury is a tad too far how about the Cumbria weekend, that's a bit closer for you?

Maybe. Well I would have to come in my van, new sidecar not ready, not sure about access to bunkhouse but could sleep in van or try tent if someone could help me put it up. Biggest issue is toilet, is there a disabled toilet and is it a proper one, i.e. get a full size wheelchair in and turn it round and shut the door, a normal cubical with a couple of wall bars is not enough. Would love to come and join in as I missed last year. Might even be able to cope if I used a public disabled toilet (radar key) in Ledbury if there is one. (Toilet is only needed "once a day" I have bottles!)

HI
becuase we did not seell the bunkhouse beds we gave the spares back and they have sold them elsewhere

TENT, I am happy to assist as much as I can (and most people know I look OK I am not all there, well more correctly I am, but some of my bits dont work)

I have just sent a message to the site to check and when I get an answer I will let you know.

Even if you dont make this one there will be more events in the future, and we will always ask sites about toilets before making arrangements

Thanks George, may well be I just turn up on the day, life a bit unpredictable at the mo, if that's OK with you, not booking, coming in a van etc!

Hi
I asked and they said the toilets are unsuitable, I will make sure it is a question asked of all future venues when I make enquiries

Hi we will not be down till evening time as we wont be able to set off till after work  Pirate will probably nip off and bring a bag of chips back while I finish putting up the tent. Hope the weather is better than forecast 8-[ I have a list of places I would like to visit which your welcome to look through. Will depend on the weather which ones we go to (unless we have a better offer) see you tomorrow

Hi
We have shunted stuff about so there is no space available now,

I am looking forward to what has always been a good event.

I may come out to play but should pop over to near Cheltenham if the weather bucks up.

I know the feeling, it was really hard work today,
Riding all day long between lakes, over bridges, along the sea, through forrest and doing cruises (ferries 2 small and 2 of about 2hours each).
Ending up in a hotel with a view on my bike, still have to remove my second camera in order to download the video it took today, the big one still needs 55 min to download it's recordings to the external HDD.
Also need to add the sticker "I love Aland" to my bike.
Now I'm tired of having to switch my touchpad on/off to do some decent typing (avoiding the cursor moving all over the place and me typing everywhere but there where I intended too. So now the mouse have to come out.
