European breakdown cover

Postby oikford » Thu Aug 14, 2014 4:48 pm

Hi,
I have a 1997 R1100rt and im looking at taking it abroad to France, Germany, Belgium< Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Does anyone know of a company that will give me european breakdown cover on a bike older than 15 years old..... without selling my soul.

Cheers
Mark

European breakdown cover

Postby BeemerBaz » Thu Aug 14, 2014 6:46 pm

I took my 86 R80RT To Switzerland in 2010 and had cover via Carol Nash, and I needed it as had my bike recovered and repatriated following a brake failure.

I have breakdown cover for the whole of europe included with my Carol Nash Policy this covers my modern bike and also my 1955 AJS. Give them a ring I am sure they will be able to fix you up.

Thanks Mike,
Sounds like Carole Nash are the people to talk to.
