Regional meetings and rides out

Postby retrorodent » Sat Nov 08, 2014 1:58 pm

Hi,
I recently acquired a K1100 lt and joined the forum. I am very pleased with the bike and the advice i have received from members so far. I am contemplating joining the club but have searched the forum for details of regional meetings and rides out. The only meetings and rides seem to be during the week, hopefully I'm missing something?
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
There is a lot of support in Yorkshire for ride outs during the week but I agree that we need to think more about weekend meets, I'm in the process of looking at Hexham, Hawick and Carlisle as venues, would you be interested in any of those for a ride out ?

Suggestion :- Grand Prix Café, Donnington Collection, Donnington Park, Castle Donnington, DE74 2RP. Sunday Nov 16th @ 11:00. I'll put it in as a separate entry.

Hi Chris,

I live in County Durham, but often ride round in the Yorkshire Dales.

Skipton is a frequent destination

Thanks for the reply Keith,
I visited Hexham recently whilst camping in Belingham, some great roads in your neck of the woods. Hawick is a bit far for a days ride out. Might be able to do Hexham or Carlisle though

Hello Tebbo welcome to the forum. Try not to use all capitals, it's considered shouting in forums.
