Welsh Week May 2020

Postby george baker » Tue Aug 06, 2019 12:28 pm

Hi
All Week in Friday 15th -22nd May 2020, the week between the bank holidays

We have booked a lodge at Radnor revivals http://www.radnorrevivals.com/prices.html
We plan to use 4 beds in a large lodge, a second lodge can be booked if we are overwhelmed with interest,
YOU MUST BE A CLUB MEMBER to attend--due to insurance cover--temporary membership may be available

£70 per person for the week, 5 expressions of interest so far

Think on--- cos ATM I think I can book an extra lodge of twin rooms at the same price if we act within the next couple of months.

There will be camping available, no price currently but cheap-ish

Hi Guys,

A two hour ride from the Radnor revivals, is the Welsh Highland heritage railway, a steam railway network which may make a nice day out .

Hi
sounds good,

Another possible day is the wiggly road to Aberystwyth, the cliff railway, coffee overlooking the town and the Camera Obscurer then the quick ride home (for the hooligans)

Hi
are you coming?
70 quid for the week, indoor bed shower kitchen. Cheaper than camping. Come for 2 nights and it's the same as a travelodge.

I'm thinking along the same lines as Keith.
I've PM'd him so, who knows - there might be two Scotsmen at the Welsh Week 2020 !

Hi George,
I’m thinking now that I’ll drive down to Wales on the Sunday to arrive Sunday evening and will drive back to Scotland on the Wednesday, so count me in....
