Stainless steel

I need some opinions..................
Here in Indonesia, there are VERY few aftermarket, or in fact any parts available for Beemers. Recently, I had to replace the crash bars on my R 65 and being an impatient sort, I had them fabricated here from stainless steel. A perfect fit and well made. What interests me, is : In the UK, can a similar service be obtained?
BTW, the cost was 84 quid for the pair.

so Motor works quote:GBP 145.13 for chrome bars
If I add:
25% for shipping= GBP 181.45
25% Import duty=GBP 226.76
10%VAT= GBP249.44
Convert to local currency= Rp3,453,700
Compare to my stainless variety: Rp: 900,000
I have saved: Rp. 2,553,700 or GBP : 184

I'm happy. Here is a pic:

Why not get a few made and try on Oz ebay? You might have a winner there?
Cheers, Steve.
