ESA opinions on used bike to buy?

I’ve got chance of buying a seven year old r12r with just under 30k miles on and want to know owners opinions on the esa with regards to any known problems ?

No responses yet - so I'll just say I have an R1200R and I love it.
Can't help with the ESA though, as mine doesn't have it.

1200RT with 26k miles and no issues. If the esa fails you can replace with a Wilbers unit to which the control stuff is attached. Costs around a grand. https://youtu.be/bf7MIVPfic4

Correction. If you are happy to remove and replace yourself, the job can be done for £595.

Cheers for the above info. As it happens I’ve treated myself to ‘option 2’ bike which was a Rockster at handy money.
