Postby nikon70 » Sat Jan 12, 2019 9:55 am

Hi folks,

I have a WiFi OBC2 device I use for my cars (reset engine light and such), if I get the converter to the 10pin, will this be able to read the bike codes or do I need to get the GS-911 or similar lol this:

Can only comment on my recent experience, my bike had an iABS fault I bought the motoscan software obd reader and cable, the system worked ok for the majority of stuff, however the codes given are proprietary and not gs911, that’s ok for a lot of things as a narrative is given HOWEVER the fault codes on my iABS did not have a narrative and when I got in touch with motoscan they were as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
So depending on fault you pays your money and you take your chances 🙂

Regards Tony
