Mirror pods
There seems to be a bit of a design fault with these. When washing the bike (and presumably if left in the rain) water collects in the inside corner of the mirror pod so you have a nice puddle of water inside the pod. I have to resort to blowing out the water with an air compressor or pet dryer. BMW should have designed it with a drain hole.....

Re: Mirror pods
If you think a drain hole is a good idea, why don't you add one and let us know if it works.
Re: Mirror pods
That would mean drilling in to my lovely pristine mirror pod....I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and whether they had come up with a less invasive solution.

Re: Mirror pods
A small hole at the bottom of the mirror pod would be hard to notice.
