Hi Folks,
wonder if anyone has come across this.
BMW R65 1979
Bing constant-depression carburettor part number on carb is 64/32/2030
I have a pair of vacuum gauges but the adaptors are to large to fit in the vacuum gauge take-off point. The screw that came out is about 4mm Has anyone managed to find an adaptor or a solution to allow me to fit the gauges?
thanks

Re: Vacuum Gauge Adaptor
What gauge set do you have?
I use a Morgan Carbtune and its rubber pipes fit every BMW I've used it on (including injection models).

Hi Mike,
thanks for the reply and thanks for solving my problem. I have had a complete brain malfunction. Your reply made me take another look.
I took the screw out and was expecting one of the adaptors to screw into the hole. I thought the screw was flush with the body. its not there is a tube it goes into and I can put the gauge hose straight on the end. Doh!
thanks againe

Good to see that other people's brain farts are just the same as mine.

In case you ever have to replace one, the screw is M3.5 x 0.6
